Surgient Platform System Requirements - Version 7

This section defines the system requirements for the various Surgient components. The following requirements are recommended for a successful Surgient Platform deployment:

Verification Environment

Hardware:
Minimum of (2) x86 servers; minimum 2GB RAM and 40GB free disk space each

Surgient Software:

• Surgient Platform 7 or later
• Microsoft Windows Server 2008 x86/x64
• Microsoft Windows Server 2003 x86/x64
• Microsoft Windows Server 2000
• Microsoft SQL Server 2005
• Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0
• Microsoft IIS 6.x w/ ASP.NET
• Microsoft Data Access Client 2.8
• Microsoft IE 6.0 / 7.0
• Mozilla Firefox 1.0 / 2.0

Virtualization Software:

• VMware vSphere 4, ESX 3.0 / 3.5
• Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 R2
• Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 Hyper-V
• VMware ESXi

Guest Operating Systems:
Any guest operating system supported by Virtualization software, such as:

• Novell SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 x86/x64
• Microsoft Windows Vista x86/x64
• Microsoft Windows XP Pro x86/x64
